Our Houston apartments downtown are surrounded by so many amazing restaurants, it’s almost hard to choose which one to dine at or meet friends at. Downtown Houston has had an influx of fine dining, food halls and more over the last few years, so we’ve narrowed it down to just a few of our favorites and a few lists we highly recommend. Trust us, there are plenty more to choose from, which we try to highlight on our Facebook page (hint, hint!).
Downtown Houston Apartments Offer Two On-Site Restaurants
If you don’t want to go far, you’re in luck, because our downtown Houston apartments have not one, but two on-site restaurants with top chefs, a fun atmosphere and an incredible game day atmosphere.
Osso & Kristalla is a modern Italian trattoria from Houston Astros-Owner Jim Crane.
“Osso & Kristalla is open for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour and focuses on using only fresh and local ingredients. The kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Danny Trace. Lunch offers salads, wood-fired pizzas and pasta, and brunch boasts homemade pastries, Katz Coffee and healthy omelets. At dinner, Osso & Kristalla transforms to a modern, yet relaxed lounge atmosphere with a full bar and extensive wine selection. Cocktails are served alongside shared plates and fresh seafood selections” via their website. They also offer weekend brunch and happy hour, so it’s always a good time to visit!
Potente is the other on-site restaurant that our residents can easily enjoy. Potente is another one of Astros-Owner Jim Crane’s restaurants, and it’s a huge gathering place for Houston Astros fans before and after games.
“The menu features daily seafood selections, homemade pastas and USDA steaks. The restaurant’s extensive wine list features a large selection of Italian wines, as well as a section of California’s finest vintners. Potente boasts one of the best Happy Hour menus in downtown Houston. Happy Hour is available Monday-Saturday from 5-7pm in the bar area. Happy Hour drinks start at $4 and bar bites at $3.”
